The U.K. government can find time to talk about Kanye West but has nothing to say about Trump’s threat of genocide. Why is that? Don’t Muslims matter? Is that what we are meant to understand from this supposedly Labour government?

I have been wondering all day how on earth the BBC is making this the major news story of today.

If Trump follows through with his wilder and increasingly concerning threats, Keir Starmer must immediately recall Parliament. The Prime Minister must also withdraw US access to UK bases now. This is a grave and era-defining moment for the world.

Of course speaking out is necessary but not sufficient. But its the very least we should expect our government to be doing. It's time to suspend all US military from UK soil. And the clock is ticking.

Trump is threatening genocide and King Charles is still planning a state visit to see him. Why, oh why, oh why? Has he really got such low self worth that he won’t tell Starmer where to get off? It’s time to refuse to obey orders.

Starmer should immediately & unequivocally ban access to British airspace to US warplanes. The UK must not be accomplice to a US President who is threatening more war crimes. Period.
