@prevenzione @doomboy Keepass è un software che merita fiducia, come tutti i software è soggetto a dei problemi, il fatto che sia open consente proprio di risolverli alla luce del sole e con awareness degli utenti. Credo che lei non abbia gli strumenti per comprendere davvero quello che sta dicendo.

This is an excellent comment, and not just about Go, but all the tools we use. Demand more of your tools folks. A lot of this is why I'm burned out on dynlangs. I don't write them, but I own/inherit them, and they make me sad in some of the ways this response mentions.

@matteojoliveau Unfortunately I don't know anything like that open source, and really reliable. If you find something pls share :), I use eventually in some side projects, even just the postgres part with migrations and db schema, but it's something really far from production readiness :/

@CDimonaco This is really interesting! Unfortunately I'm looking for an event store that I can share between multiple services, potentially written in different languages, and which can exchange events via a common bus (e.g. Kafka, NATS and other similar tools)

Is there any other open source (preferably community driven) event stores/event sourcing databases beside eventstore.com? They could also be some stateless layer on top of Cassandra/Dynamo/Postgres, I just don't want to implement event storage in the app layer 😢

@jasoncwarner @elixirlang and Phoenix on the backend, Nuxt.js for frontend and api consuming. Golang for the backend side is also a good choice, all depends on team size and the time you can invest in.

@matteojoliveau This is software development 101. I don't know why, many go developers think that stdlib is the only library they should use, leading most of the time to reinventing the wheel with more bugs than features. Cargo is a good package manager, other words are just bullshit :D

I think this is really misleading, unless this assuming that every Go project uses exactly 0 3rd party libraries. Which is hugely false, as every `go.mod` file in the world will show oth, Go does not tell you that a library you're using is vulnerable or unmaintained. Cargo does
