@TrentRushSports I just think the outcry from you guys is a bit much. I get the stakes with Trout and it sucks due to his injury history, but M’s hit him 1.5% of his AB’s which is exactly equal to his career HBP% per AB.

Mike is dead on & Angels pitchers protection of him apparently needs to be stronger. The game polices itself. Detmers sent a message in first game of the series when he “yanked a fastball” behind Rodriguez. Clearly that message was not clear enough.

Honestly I never wish for players to get drilled, but this case is different the angels absolutely need to retaliate and drill Rodriguez or Raleigh.
