We’re thrilled to kick off the brand-new European Peatlands Initiative (EPI): a Community Platform, created under the @EUKI_Climate project “Building the EPI*”: eurosite.org/join-europes-g… *The project was implemented from 11/2022 – 10/2025, as part of the EUKI of the German BMUKN.

#DYK that peat soils store the most carbon amongst any other soil type? A long-term carbon storage, they help mitigate the impacts of climate change. We work on their preservation & that's why we are today at the "Keeping carbon where it belongs: in the soil" conference, in 🇭🇺.
