Private AI memory cannot live on-chain as plaintext. But proof can. I’m sharing my paper: Private On-Chain Validated Skill Graph The thesis is direct: AI systems will increasingly accumulate reusable skills. But if those skills become institutional memory, they need governance: who can write them who can update them who can revoke them what evidence supports them what policy they satisfy what future missions may rely on them GoalOS V97.4 proposes a private, on-chain architecture for the Validated Skill Graph. The durable unit is not a prompt, transcript, or answer. It is a validated skill: scoped replayable evidence-backed policy-gated versioned rollbackable safe to reuse The key design law: Private intelligence is never written as plaintext. If it must live on-chain, it is written as ciphertext plus commitments. Zero-knowledge proofs attest that hidden policy conditions were satisfied without revealing the private skill capsule. Ethereum stores public authority: Evidence Docket roots ProofBundle roots schema hashes version events authorization records zk verification results optional encrypted capsules The private operational intelligence remains encrypted. The public chain records proof commitments, not exposed secrets. Write authority is also bounded. Only wallets that own direct *.agent.agi.eth subnames may write, supersede, or revoke skill commitments. That matters. Because autonomous memory should not be editable by vibes, prompts, or anonymous outputs. It should require verifiable agent identity, policy satisfaction, validator evidence, and Chronicle admission. This is the shift: from AI memory to proof-governed memory from private capability leakage to encrypted skill capsules from “trust my agent” to “verify the commitment, policy proof, and authorization path” A model may draft. An agent may act. A validator may attest. But only Chronicle-admitted capability should influence future missions. This paper does not claim achieved AGI, ASI, empirical SOTA, legal certification, financial advice, live settlement, or production authority. It defines a research and implementation architecture for securing reusable AI capability with commitments, encryption, ENS authorization, zk policy proofs, and proof-gated memory.
