@_Aeon_X noo i meant to say lacking empathy towards ppl that are sensitive when it comes to a chara, but it's obvious im against those who aren't empathetic and harass others over it, you can defend your character without harassing thats what i mean

@CEOofBlade Lacking empathy toward fictional characters is normal but lacking empathy toward real people over things that don't even exist is abnormal

think some people don't get how others can have an emotional attachment to a character, be it a man or woman and ofc get sensitive over them, what y'all lack is empathy

@sourgrapesbunch my post was mostly referring to those ppl who say "damn allat over *insert fav chara*" like yes i am one who wants to make things right if i disagree with smth. but certainly i don't harass ppl over this. just don't wanna be perceived this way

@CEOofBlade I was called weird by people who obsess over celebs or kpop members. It's only a problem for people when it's a fictional character, but parasocial relationships are normalized for some reason

@CEOofBlade Yeah. I have characters that I am attached too. I normally pqrt and block if I see hate. If I think their take is wrong I discuss with that person respectfully. But since it was a joke that some people might be sensitive about warning them would be enough

@CEOofBlade (1) idk maybe they should have that same empathy for real people, i get being emotionally attached to a character but sending your followers to harass someone who made not that bad of a joke is beyond me because you would defend a char whos not even real and whos mental health

@heng7th like it goes both ways, you don't go insult the person who said smth you don't agree with so others don't go saying "people got so enraged over smth fictional to the point they went after a real person" like ye. im not that chronically online

@heng7th that i agree. although i didn't have time to check for the whole thing so i didn't know the person was accused of something.. that is a little too much. i think the point was to teach them that it's not really nice what they said and that's about it
