Researching @CEV_FC amateur goalkeeper CC Rawlinson who played for them 1899 - 1908ish We believe he played for #CFC reserves v @HitchinTownFC 21 Oct 1905 There's a well known solicitor of the time, Charles Cecil Rawlinson, old boy of @MerchantTaylors Is it the same person?

Vampires FC — based in Norbury, SW16 — merged with Crouch End FC in 1897 to become Crouch End Vampires FC. (Ashamed I didn't know about this as a new Crouch End resident!) They have v cool crest, and former Spur Dave McEwen (legacy # 656!) started his career with the Vamps!
