Today, we revealed our CEW South 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Bonnie Johns! She was surprised when we announced it during lunch today, but she is very deserving of the honor. Ms. Johns teachers 8th grade ELA, English 1 Honors and is also our yearbook advisor. @CCSDConnects

Last evening, we held our CEW South Campus Wolverine Winter Concert in our beautiful cafeteria/performance space. Great job Mr. Robinson and chorus. Also, thanks to all staff who assisted! @CCSDConnects

At CEW South, we continued our staff “13 Days Before Winter Break” by being “Mad About Plaid!” Here are a few pics but be warned, there is A LOT of plaid! @CCSDConnects

We are EXTREMELY PROUD of Ms. McPhillips. She is a 1st year Exceptional Ed. teacher at CEW South and received the “Guiding Light” Award from the CCSD Office of Teacher Effectiveness. Thank you to Dr. Sessoms, her mentor, and Ms. Townsend who assists with the class! @CCSDConnects

Last evening, the CEW South Campus held their Winter Band Concert WAHS. Great job to the CEW South Band! Great job to our Director of Bands, Ms. Hatch (center) and to Ms. Hoy and Mr. Smashum, and Ms. Miller (not pictured) for helping with assisting with students. @CCSDConnects

At CEW South, we are “Wild about Winter” and Ms. Wolff, Ms. Crowe, Ms. Basalyga, and Ms. Wise showed off their animal prints! @CCSDConnects

POSITIVE referrals for some of our South Campus Wolverines! Students who are recognized by staff for demonstrating PRIDE (Prepared, Respect, Integrity, Dedicated, & Engaged) may be referred to admin for recognition in addition to other incentives. Work hard, play hard, have fun!

Wednesday was PBIS "Pride Time!" All students who met the PBIS expectations for the past week spent some extra time outdoors with their house! Work hard, play hard, have fun!

Mr. Smith was excited about yesterday's potluck! There were some great dishes served up by the South Campus staff!

2020-2021 CEW South Rookie Teacher of the Year, Ms. Kelly Reardon (7th grade Social Studies) and LeBone working after school. Don’t tell him, but it looks like LeBone is missing a finger!
