Hi Parth, there’s no such restriction. In case the markets are volatile, we don’t allow fresh buy market orders for OTM options (you can place a market order with market protection instead). There are no restrictions on selling options.

Apparently @zerodha won't let you short OTM options till 9:16 (1 min) so that their server doesn't get crashed because of high order frequency.
I don't know which exchange and regulatory rules they are bound by.
