I’m noticing this narrative of “this rivalry is good for college football or the fans” is coming a lot more from the usf side. I know there’s a few UCF fans that want the war on I4 back but honestly I don’t know that many UCF folks that really want this game to be an annual thing

@wreckemweedman As someone that’s been to that Gainesville multiple times and interacted with them at neutral site games too they’re like that irl as well it’s not just a small minority. Most of the SEC fanbases are. Florida and Miami fans are AWFUL online and IRL.

@Bull_Disclosure @SSN_UCF We only have three non-conference slots and having some of those be away G5 games if we had to travel to y’all is difficult to manage. It’d have to be in years we have a home P4 game or 5 home conference games, those years would have to match up with usf’s schedule as well.

I agree with this take. I think #UCF hides behind the G/P label. Your NIL $ number is your conference. The conference patch on your shoulder is dead now in terms of success. And UCF doesn’t really have an advantage here. So they won’t play.

Going 5-7 in the BIG12 when we could’ve easily been 7-5 if like two plays went different is lowkey a miracle considering how bad Malzahn left the program. Frost literally had to slap this roster together in like 2 weeks in December of 2024 with 60+ new players from the portal.

Have truly lost respect for Tim Walton and the Florida Gator softball team! To hit a player 5 times because they transferred for a better situation is crazy! Then at the end of the game not to shake hands is poor sportsmanship ! Lil girls are watching as coaches we must lead!

@Koji_Vu @Aztec Colorado no longer plays Colorado State annually and Cincinnati has stopped playing Miami Ohio after this year. Nobody plays P4 vs G6 annually anymore.
