Last night at the @IndianaChamber Annual Awards Dinner, Boone County received the 2023 NextEra Energy Resources Community of the Year award. We love our Boone County community, residents, nonprofits, and everyone working to make Boone a better place to live, work, and play. ❤️

🎶#GranteeSpotlight:🎶 We had a chance to meet up with our friends at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra to present them with their grant funds from our 4th quarter rolling grant program. The ISO will use this grant to host four Teddy Bear Concerts in Boone County. #BooneImpact

Congratulations to the #WomenofImpact Boone County Q4 grantee, Indy Hygiene Hub! They currently provide free hygiene items to more than 225 Boone County families. As winter approaches, the needs are rising, so this grant will help them help others! That's a wrap on 2023!

#GranteeSpotlight: One of the best parts of our jobs! We presented Zionsville Education Foundation with their matching grant check. ZEF went above and beyond by raising $6,391 to add to their $5,000 matching grant to support the Education of and Development in Literacy. 📚

⭐️#GranteeSpotlight⭐️ A recent grant helped the Western Boone families with low-cost, quality pre-kindergarten program options to prepare 4-year-old children with a solid academic foundation to be successful in school. 100% of the grant funding was used to offset staff salaries.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George Morton. He was an avid CFBC supporter since 1994 and served in a variety of capacities, including on our Board of Directors and as a Scholarship Fund Advisor. We thank him for the many contributions he made to our community.

⭐️ #GranteeSpotlight ⭐️ In 2022, SAWS (Servants at Work, Inc.) received a $30,000 matching grant. SAWS builds ramps for neighbors in need. Part of that grant was used for a truck to help them complete their mission. The truck looks great - we love that logo! #BooneImpact
