@AgabaGerald08 @AfricaFactsZone Just like the voters, like seriously why would you vote out someone who has given you ambulance?
English

@AfricaFactsZone, Thank you for bringing this up. First, it's true I took back my ambulance & I have no apologies for that. Why did I do it? It's because they didn't vote for me. So did you expect me to walkaway with nothing? Galatians 6:7 A man reaps what he sows.

Amid ongoing talks in Mogadishu between Somalia’s Federal Government and opposition leaders, mediated by the ambassadors of the United States and the United Kingdom, Turkiye has emerged as a quiet but influential force behind the scenes, helping push negotiations toward progress.
According to sources familiar with the discussions, Western diplomats have encouraged Ankara to take a more active facilitation role, viewing Turkiye as the only foreign actor that commands broad trust across Somalia’s political spectrum.
The development comes just days after several Turkish lawmakers publicly called on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to dispatch a special delegation to Somalia to help mediate between the country’s rival political factions amid mounting tensions over the electoral process.
Sources told Somali Eye that Turkiye has deliberately avoided taking a visible seat at the negotiating table, wary of undermining its long-held policy of non-interference in Somalia’s internal political affairs. Instead, Ankara is said to be working discreetly through diplomatic channels while maintaining its longstanding support for Somalia’s Federal Government.

@georgediano I keep asking myself, how is Ruto planning to enjoy all this looting in future when the rest of the country will be impoverished? Because honestly we're getting poorer while he keeps amassing looted wealth.

Mchezo wa taon. Members of Parliament have proposed relocating Nakuru State House to a different location away from the busy Nakuru–Nairobi highway. They cited security concerns, noting that a multi-storey hotel directly overlooks the presidential residence. Members of Parliament have flagged it as a serious breach of presidential security and zoning protocols.
But here’s the gist: The Encore Hotel is owned by Sam Mburu, who allegedly acts as a proxy for Kasongo. The hotel was constructed last year. In fact, before Kasongo took office, no one was allowed to construct even a two-storey building near State House. But somehow, the government allowed Susan Kihika and her husband to put up a hotel with over ten floors. Statehouse Nakuru is now on sale.

JUST IN - Anything handed out by Chinese officials was taken and thrown out before boarding Air Force One.
A pool reporter said the US staff took credentials, burner phones, and delegation pins and “threw them in a bin” before anyone was allowed to board the plane. “Nothing from China was allowed on the plane.”

Satellite imagery shows Russia has covered two nuclear-armed Borei-class submarines at its Kamchatka Pacific base — 7,400 km from Ukraine — in full anti-drone netting.
It's the first time entire submarines, not just their sails or piers, have been netted this way.
The subs each carry 16 intercontinental ballistic missiles with multiple warheads.
