People borrow licences all the time and arc only got involved in EE after the million sales on steam which made them go to console

if they were planning on releasing a blazblue game now, less than 5 years after strive release then there is legit ZERO reason for Entropy Effect to exist. The reason they are actually going back to CF is bc CF has been successful since rollback got added so they know people still care about the series. before rollback though entropy effect was essentially their way of seeing if the IP was remotely profitable still, and it is.
