4. CFKR recognizes that local non-profits have deep knowledge and expertise and that it is often uniquely challenging to secure funding for basic operational costs. As a result, for CFKR’s 2026 grant application process, operating costs are eligible expenses.

As the 2025 recipient of CFKR’s Community Volunteer Award recipient, Tony is designating the accompanying $750.00 donation to KidSport Cranbrook, to assist local children and youth with the costs of participating in sports.

We'll announce the 2025 recipient on GivingTuesday, December 2nd. The recipient will have the opportunity to direct $750.00 to a local CRA-registered charity/qualified donee of their choice.
