MARKETETS URGED TO DISCLOSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Competition and Fair Trading Commission (CFTC) on Tuesday evening encouraged Malawian marketers to disclose the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of their campaigns to consumers.

These programs are specifically tailored for rural and vulnerable populations, who often face the highest risk of falling victim to unfair trading practices.

To celebrate this year’s World Consumer Rights Day under the theme “Safe Products, Confident Consumers,” the CFTC will continue to host community sensitization sessions.

CFTC EMPOWERS RURAL COMMUNITIES IN THYOLO AND RUMPHI On Monday 16th March, the Competition and Fair Trading Commission (CFTC) conducted sensitization meetings at Saint Anthony, Khonjeni, and Mtambanyama in Thyolo, reaching over 1,200 consumers.
