please, can I go ten seconds without hearing about this shit. ten seconds? “Decentralized finance” is a myth, blockchain isn’t a solution, NFTs cause nothing but harm, and crypto will be cracked immediately once quantum computing takes off

@CFXSquad A big “benefit” of DeFi is that it’s decentralized. Thing is, it isn’t. It’s a lot of software layers, each of which has the potential to be centralized. Most people use similar wallets, APIs, exchanges, blockchains, and NFT marketplaces.

@_eezstreet_ You are partly right. There are true decentralized chains out there gaining popularity by the day (e.g: ICP, Dfinity). I honestly understand your viewpoint, but just as back in the dot com bubble this one will also burst. But that won’t mean the end of NFTs or DeFi 1/2

@_eezstreet_ Okay. But my question stands: why do you think this negative about decentralized finance? I get the “hate” on NFTs. But it’s true utility will shine in the coming years instead of the NFT bubble of funny PNGs. I’ll die on this hill lol.

@CFXSquad When I say “DeFi is a myth” I don’t mean that it doesn’t exist or that people don’t invest in crypto; there’s $100B in it right now according to Wikipedia.

People are still sleeping on the potential of crypto in the masses. You are all still early.

@CFXSquad @MedabotsOOC The primary issue is that this person only owns a NAME, nothing further. He did not buy Medarot from Imagineer, he did not purchase rights or licenses, and is attempting to create a bootleg of a legitimate IP as a mask for cryptocurrency.
