I'm very proud to see the first work of my PhD at @FuniMat published in @J_A_C_S, where we use different Metal Exchange methods to obtain new Ti-MOF materials, inaccessible by direct synthesis. Many thanks to all for the help, guidance and collaboration. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

Now in @J_A_C_S we use metal exchange reactions with our Ti2Ca2 clusters to integrate structural and compositional changes in #ReticularFrameworks. This soft strategy let us create MUV-301 with the largest mesoporous cages reported yet for #titanium MOFs

This year’s #NobelPrize laureates in chemistry cracked the code for proteins’ amazing structures. The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2024 is about proteins, life’s ingenious chemical tools. Chemistry laureate David Baker has succeeded with the almost impossible feat of building entirely new kinds of proteins. His co-laureates Demis Hassabis and John Jumper have developed an AI model to solve a 50-year-old problem: predicting proteins’ complex structures. These discoveries hold enormous potential.
