We all know that stress affects the body, especially when those bodies are little and still developing, and now we have data that treatment affects the body-it repairs harm. We need more policies to help us support the spread of this early childhood trauma interventions.

It is important to talk about the impact on children, but even more than this, we need to be talking with each other about what we will do to prevent community violence. Then we can let them know that as grown-ups, we are truly working together to change things.
