@ParadoxVirtual I mean.... did you use AI to write this? I'm absolutely baffled by the point trying to made here... that all artists are elitist and refuse to engage with their audiences (if that's actually the main point of this.... whatever this is). That's simply not been my experience.

For was it not the artist who once gave voice to the voiceless? Was it not the artist who spoke life, so fiercely and so beautifully, on behalf of those who had no tongue with which to summon their sorrow into song? Were they not the ones who sought to bring joy to the masses, to pour color into gray rooms, to place fire in the hands of the weary and say, “Here. Feel again”? Were they not the ones who invoked the will — nay, the very emotion — of a people left unheard by kings, by crowds, by culture, and by time itself? And yet now, how strange the transformation. How cruel the mask becomes when praise has fastened it too tightly to the face. So many who once claimed to stand beside the broken now stand above them. So many who once sought to enrich and entertain the people now turn from those very people with callousness, vitriol, and disdain. Tell me, then, what is your solution for such contempt? What remedy do you offer when art is no longer held in reverence, but ransomed for greed? When the canvas becomes a marketplace, the stage becomes a pulpit for vanity, and the song becomes a leash held by those who have mistaken ownership for mastery? What do you do when art is reduced to a shadow of itself? When there are more puppeteers than poets, more merchants than muses, more curators of approval than true masters of craft seeking to carve a legacy into time? For art was never meant to be a gated garden where the crowned may stroll while the hungry press their faces against the iron. It was meant to be a fire. A dangerous, divine, unruly fire. And if those entrusted with that flame now use it only to warm their own hands while others freeze outside the temple, then do not act surprised when the forgotten learn to build their own torches. Do not call it betrayal when the abandoned find another altar. Do not call it sacrilege when the unheard discover a new instrument with which to sing. For the tragedy is not that the people turned to machines. The tragedy is that the people first turned to artists — and found no one willing to answer.

***Warhammer lore channel update*** Three weeks ago, I was incredibly proud to play a part in the launch of a new Warhammer lore channel on YT with @40kIndomitus and @LSymphonica​, two of France's foremost 40k creators. The reception to the channel in its first week was fantastic, with almost 100k views for our first video The Siege of Helsreach and almost 10k subscribers. Last week, the channel was removed by Youtube without explanation. In the email that notified us of this news, the only justification was 'violating circumvention polices' which usually relates to previous strikes against a channel. The channel had received no strikes. As a voice actor who has worked on multiple projects licensed by Games Workshop as well as directly with the company itself, my first priority is navigating fair use of material with the utmost respect to copyright law. This is why I do not monetise any 40k content on my own channels. To clarify with the lore channel in question, Invictus 40k: There was no copyright infringement. There was no generative AI content used. Our only conclusion at this point is that the channel has been erroneously flagged by AI bots on the platform. Right now, we're appealing the decision through the automated process. But we are aware that several lore channels have had issues on YT recently, and if anyone has a contact at Youtube themselves or informed advice about what to do, it would be appreciated. I will update with any further developments as soon as I have it!

@CGTester @40kIndomitus @LSymphonica Terrible, this has been happening with a lot of 40K YouTubers, I’m lucky my big head is plastered all over my videos to stop this AI takedown nonsense. Chris, if you can me the email of Indimitus I can send him a message and try and get the channel back

@CGTester @40kIndomitus @LSymphonica Hmm, yes. Violating circumvention policies sounds to me like there is a record somewhere of a channel, probably associated with one of your emails, being flagged as permanently suspended, which has caused this to happen.

@For_Macragge @40kIndomitus @LSymphonica Not anyone I know of would be relevant, but I'm pretty clear on their terms.

@CGTester @40kIndomitus @LSymphonica I hope it’s not GW themselves flagging it, maybe you can ask one of your contacts? Although I hear they’re quite cagey about that kind of thing.
