As we continue transforming schools infrastructure across Kitutu Masaba, this morning, we opened two modern classroomsat Nyachichi Comprehensive School in Kemera Ward. This marks an important milestone in our efforts to decongest the institution. 1/

locals heavily rely on constituency roads for connectivity and access to services. The NG-CDF remains critical in addressing infrastructure challenges in our schools, supporting security projects, and facilitating the establishment of digital hubs at the constituency level. 3/

I also requested government to fast-track the disbursement of the NG-CDF allocation for the 2025/26 financial year. At a time when many counties are struggling to repair roads that are in a deplorable condition, 2/

This afternoon on the floor of the National Assembly, I sought clarification regarding the KES 13 million deducted from KeRRA allocations in every constituency, funds that were originally meant for road maintenance and rehabilitation. 1/

The programme aimed at phasing out dilapidated structures in our local learning institutions is being implemented equitably across all wards. Our sincere gratitude to residents for their warm hospitality and for turning out in large numbers to witness and receive the project. 2/

The unveiling of three modern classrooms at Nyamakairo Comprehensive School will significantly ease pupil congestion within the institution. Situated in Gachuba Ward, the school’s facelift was funded through the Kitutu Masaba NG-CDF for the 2024/25 financial year. 1/

This evening, in the company of locals, we conducted an inspection of this strategic route that connects Kitutu Masaba and Borabu constituencies. We urge the community to protect the drainage systems to ensure the road’s durability and long-term sustainability. 2/

Routine maintenance of the Gesima–Nyabuya–Nyaronge Road is currently underway, with remarkable progress already achieved. Once completed, the road will greatly improve the movement of goods and people, boosting economic activities within the region.. 1/

Investing in adequate infrastructure within our local schools enhances the overall learning experience and contributes to improved academic performance. We sincerely thank the parents and all stakeholders who graced the occasion and continue to support the growth of our schools.

As learners break for mid-term, and in response to the acute shortage of learning spaces, we have opened two newly constructed classrooms at Omogomba Comprehensive School in Manga ward, fully equipped with lockers and chairs to provide a conducive learning environment. 1/

The road links Nyamira and Kisii counties and is expected to significantly improve the movement of people and goods, enhancing transport efficiency and boosting economic growth across the region 2/

We inspected the Omogonchoro–Ekenyoru–Kegati Road, which has been upgraded to bitumen standards by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) under the Kisii-Nyamira by-pass program. 1/

A thorough verification process was undertaken at all levels to ensure that only eligible applicants were awarded bursaries. Cheques for universities have already been delivered, while those for secondary schools and middle-level colleges are currently being processed. 3/

This brings the total amount disbursed for the 2025/2026 Financial Year to KES 74,074,000. The full list of beneficiaries is available at: kitutumasaba.co.ke/beneficiaries. Cumulatively, 20,596 students in both secondary schools and tertiary institutions have benefited from the fund. 2/

During the second disbursement of the Kitutu Masaba NG-CDF bursaries, we have released KES 40.806 million to support 13,603 students enrolled in various senior schools across the Republic of Kenya. 1/
