First of all, I want to clarify that I’m not making this to send hate to any other creators, or the hoplite team.
I was going to stay quiet about this, but I finally feel Iike it's time to say something publicly. I am one of the most consistent content creators on Hoplite, and I feel like I’m being treated unfairly. There are certain creator(s) in this community that constantly disrespect me and it's gotten to the point where it impacts my job as a creator. The Hoplite creator event could be a huge opportunity for me to grow as a creator, and this is the third time I’ve been kept out of it because of a petty grudge held by certain creators in this community for many years. I mind my business and don't cause problems with anyone, whilst they gossip about and bash me at every chance they get. I work just as hard as any other creator in this space, and being gatekept out of opportunities where i get to grow and connect with new or old creators, has taken a toll not only on my motivation but my mental health as well. I don’t think being a bigger creator than me gives anyone the right to perpetuate gossip and belittle me to the point where I’m kept out of events for reasons that paint me in an untrue light. I’m not sure what exactly can be done about this, but something needs to be and it's reached the point where I don't want to be silent about it any longer.
