//past thread pre evils [Its almost noon and chip still hasnt gotten up yet. He doesnt usually sleep this late. Its a little worrying. Hes only really half asleep at this point, but he doesnt wanna get up. Too tired to get up, too many nightmares to sleep. So he just chills.]

@CH33B0_J4M3S The elders cared not for... me nor my family. They cared for the decision that I would have to make and trained me to be able to make it when the time came. If that meant giving me a stable roof and three meals then that was why they did it.

@CHAMPIONSTRIDER [He thinks for a second again] ..I still think the fact they didnt take care of your family too is stupid- like yeah youre in the prophecy and not them but they should get SOMETHING..

@CH33B0_J4M3S They both worked so hard, Edyn said quite often... It is selfish of me to wish such a thing on her, but sometimes I use to hope that we would trade places... As gruelling as my training was, her life would be so much better... Much more comfortable, I think.

@CHAMPIONSTRIDER You seem like the type of person that moms like, I dunno.. [Its meant as a compliment but comes out a little awkward. He knows that his parents definitely wouldnt be too happy with him]

@CH33B0_J4M3S From what I can remember, my mother was too... I wonder what she'd think of me now... (Gillion's chest aches too. What would she think of him now? Does she know what happened to him? Why he had to leave?)

@CHAMPIONSTRIDER [Hes gently scratching at gills head with the hand that still has nails] ..guess it doesnt matter... having a mom sounds kinda cool though. Jays mom is really nice, you'd love her... [Theres a slight ache in his chest that he didnt realize was there. Something missing.]

@CH33B0_J4M3S People retain different pieces of their memory of a person during long periods of absence. I have... always been bad with faces, anyway, so... it is not surprising.

@CHAMPIONSTRIDER Okay but like I remember everything about arlin and he was my dad for maybe two years and I havent seen him since I was nine so maybe we're just different people but like.. I dunno. Still think they couldve tried harder.

@CHAMPIONSTRIDER Yeah well I doubt they were working every single hour of every day.. and it definitely shouldnt have been so long ago that you forget them man, thats not right.. [Talking as if hes got parents. He knows if he were in that situation that arlin wouldve tried for him though]
