@sugarkush0 @CEOAdam Seriously doesn’t this open him up to a class action lawsuit? >60million shares traded after hours with the pump on the ruling and he purposely tweets this FUD day before market reopens? He obviously is trying to cool the run but how will he not be legally accountable?

@NBCS49ers Also just realized the guy was standing on the cement wall where the metal railing started so the kid wasn’t at risk but he put himself in a horrible position. SMH

@NBCS49ers I can’t tell but it looked like there was a little kid right next to him that he went over. That could have been tragic if he crushed his neck on the railing. Thank goodness everyone is okay. People need to think before they act but chances are he was inebriated.

@ptsdandillness I've had times where when I was clarifying a common scenario patients resonate with their own experience and become resistant to what I'm saying. I try to get them to think of external situation to inspire their mindsets to shift before addressing their specific problems.

@ptsdandillness My approach would be to discuss my philosophy of mental health and how our communication and physical emotional interactions effect one another. If there is resistance to conceptual ideas I would address those first even before talking about anything personal.

@antonejohnson @Popehat When I talk about the problems in all aspects of society including our criminal system I do it from the perspective of an evolved understanding of mental health and how it impacts everything good and bad. Doing so allows me to convince the majority of people I talk to to shift.

@antonejohnson @Popehat In order to change the mindset of anything you must first challenge current thought without anger and judgement. No change occurs through judgement that implicates the "badness" of a person and that plays on the sides of criminals as well as those who judge them harshly.

@ansonjtong @RyanMarino @maiasz 2) I need to ensure they agree with my philosophy of care (and you always should have a philosophy of care, I feel that many people don't abd therefore are less effective) because if they don't then I can't help them or they aren't ready so we are wasting each other's time.

@ansonjtong @RyanMarino @maiasz When I talk to patients about their mental health the first time Im relaying my philosophy for 2 reasons. 1) I'm trying to aide them to becomd more aware of and accept their problem and contributing factors/barriers so the right help can help, 4/

Much to say about this article, a lot of it I can't speak to super well, but one thing that's really bothering me is the portrayal of supervised injection sites and the overdose crisis. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…

@ptsdandillness As long as of course that professional isn't coming off as chastising his behavior. I never chastise & I make sure my patients don't feel like I am chastising. No one changes when they feel judged or attacked and to often we communicate in ways that create that perception. GL 9/9

@ptsdandillness The biggest reason is because even if you 100% say the right thing it often times won't be taken the way it is intended simply because of the relationship you have. Therefore you telling your dad how he should talk to you is not as effective as a professional telling him 8/
