“Never mind that,” Lucien sighed, rising to his feet, looking as though his job was done now that @lmmor_al had regained consciousness. “Where do you live?”

If his entire existence had been wiped from the other’s memory, then let it stay that way. Because it seemed even more painful to remind. A sharp twinge pierced his heart, and though Lucien tried to ignore it, he thought: Maybe this is what I deserve.

“Sabarlah sedikit. Yang penting kau keluar dari sini dengan selamat, bukan?” Beberapa meter dari titik Lucien berpijak, secercah sinar menyembul seolah-olah asalnya dari dalam tanah. Sinar itu pun berubah menjadi kobaran kecil. Itu, setahu Lucien, adalah sihir pendeteksi.
