We had so much fun hosting kids camp this week! HS kids were great leaders, and little Lakers were awesome! We got to show off our cross country course on the last day. Our maintenance man - Warren - has kept it in race day shape for them. The best of the best! @lkrathletics

CHS Track records set this year: Boys Angel Dickerson broke his own records in: 100m 10.44 Long Jump 24' 6.25" Girls: Georgi Carolus broke her own 800 record- 2:19.18 Georgi broke Tessa Weber's 10 yr old Mile record- 5:20.83 Ellie Webb bettered her own 3200 record- 11:53.68

ALL-DISTRICT HONORS Ellie and Georgi were the 1st and 7th to cross the line at state for the SW region. SWCCCA coaches recognize them for their quality seasons and efforts at the state meet. Though Brody didn’t qualify to state, his achievements earn him HM honors. @lkrathletics

Two CLASS 5 state qualifiers. Girls team 8th overall. Which is incredible, considering we were 7th in class 4, one year ago. This day always brings excitement and disappointment. It’s nearly impossible for one singular day to be your best race. But they still expect it.

Class 5 District 2 in Nixa today! Top 30 move on to the state meet. Hoping to get some through today! @lkrathletics

8th Grader Averie Hotle finished 21st in the Missouri Middle School Cross Country Championships 2Mile race with a time of 13:54. This earns her an all-state medal! We are so proud of all the work Averie has put in over the season, and excited for her future in running. 🤩

Ellie and Georgi make the all conference team! Ellie did so in 1 shoe... One of my favorite things is seeing a "kid" achieve greatness and be disappointed. They are amazing by any standard but expect more of themselves. Such great people! Pat your athlete on the back today.
