Due to impacts from yesterday’s storm @chtransit will begin service no later than Noon on Monday, July 7th.

It’s hot outside when these things are running in the @chtransit shop - many thanks to our maintenance team that works in these conditions to keep our buses, customers and operators cool!

Happy to assist Danita Mason-Hogans host a community tour today and enjoyed meeting Albert Simms Williams - the 1st black @chapelhillgov firefighter and he also helped drive the 1st @chtransit buses from Atlanta to Chapel Hill.

Yesterday, a group of leaders representing @chapelhillgov, @CarrboroGov, @UNC, @UNC_Health_Care, @CHChamber & @RTATriangle joined me in DC to talk funding for @chtransit’s NSBRT project - appreciate their strong support & leadership for this critical infrastructure investment.
