@TheShowstoppers they realise they’re in a musical and start plotting against the writers

@TheShowstoppers it starts with the grandad making a confession that he went to the sperm bank as well. Turns out the dad is actually the long lost brother

It’s crazy how undervalued Little Simz still is in the UK scene. There seems to be a reluctance to put her name up there with the leaders of this generation, the likes of Dave, Headie One & J Hus. I can’t fathom why this is. When it comes to songwriting, flows and album creation, Simz is up there with the very best. And I’m not just talking about the UK. The level of artistry she has shown, particularly on her last two projects, draws comparisons with only the likes of Kendrick Lamar. THESE are the real conversations we should be having.

fucking disgusting. they care more about the potential speculation of a judge than the actual incident in question. they’ll go to the police about this but not the individual who was blatantly racist to a child.

@flufficat @misanharriman @Farrants_Cobham there’s a way of sharing history instead of glorifying gloating white slave owners and showing black men in rags seemingly dehumanising them.
English

@misanharriman @Farrants_Cobham You never heard of history? And how we learn from history? You should not shield today's children from the past or how will they learn that sometimes humans are cruel?
English

I just went to Cobham to get my kids some toys and went into a shop called @Farrants_Cobham
There is a MASSIVE picture that is pride of place at the point of payment. It is an image of black men, broken black men at a tobacco plantation with their overseers next to them?!?! I kid you not!
This is in a family store, this imagery is massive triggering and racist. And there is no conceivable reason it should be there! I’m so thankful I wasn’t with my girls.
How on earth could anyone have shopped there and found that image acceptable.
This is exhausting and damaging to many people.
English

@misanharriman have just rung farrants to complain about their racist imagery and they have claimed it’s been taken down. do you know if this is true? thank you for highlighting the blatant racism in our community
English

@nigelsback3 @misanharriman @Farrants_Cobham if the shop are confident in their decision to hang said massive racist painting then they should bare the consequences especially after being told 3 years ago to remove it.
