Not all word problems have a ‘story’…hence referring to it as words as labels. It is common practice, however, to refer to these problems as word problems.

@Larryferlazzo Please define “double” math periods. How much time are we talking here?

Double period math classes r being recommended by some researchers to help students ‘catch-up’ from the pandemic. That does not seem like a good idea to me, but I am interested in hearing what math teachers think. What say you?
