The 14th edition of CII Agro Bihar 2026, organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with the Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar, from 12 -15 March 2026 at Gandhi Maidan, Patna. At the CII Jharkhand Annual Meeting 2026 and the session on “Jharkhand @ 25: Looking Forward to 2050,” stakeholders deliberated on strategies to unlock the State’s industrial potential and shape its future growth trajectory. As Jharkhand marks 25 years of statehood, the discussions reflected on its development journey while outlining priorities for the decades ahead. Emphasis was placed on harnessing the State’s abundant natural resources, particularly critical minerals, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and promoting innovation-led development to strengthen Jharkhand’s role in India’s economic progress. Mr Varun Ranjan, IAS, Managing Director, JIIDCO & JIADA, Department of Industries, Government of Jharkhand, graced the inaugural session as the Guest of Honour, sharing valuable insights on the State’s evolving industrial ecosystem and the importance of collaborative efforts between government and industry to unlock Jharkhand’s full potential. The Annual Day also included the adoption of the CII Jharkhand Annual Report, reflecting on the initiatives and achievements of the past year. The session on “Jharkhand @ 25: Looking Forward to 2050” was moderated by Mr Ranjot Singh, Past Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council & Managing Director, Emdet Jamshedpur Pvt Ltd.
