This March 8 marks the start of a conversation about what it means to ensure equality in the digital age and how to hack a system that is still not fair for all.

Digital transformation is reshaping our democracies, economies, and spaces for participation. But technology is not neutral: it can reproduce inequalities or help correct them.

The OAS Permanent Council commemorated #8M with a special session on digital transformation and gender equality in the Americas. The session was requested by Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and Uruguay.
