Last night's 'No Turning Back 2020' event next to White Hart Lane Stadium showcased four of their 'ambassadors' sharing their experiences of getting into PR. Powerful, personal statements which unfortunately echoed the issues which have plagued the industry for decades.

@JR_Marketeer The work is done by hard working people but often in their own time, in pockets with little collaboration with other groups. What is needed is a way to highlight their work such as a hub which points you to these groups for more info or a summit on how to work with shared goals.

More and more, I’m disappointed by the #comms industry. The silos, the clubs, the discrimination, the exclusivity, the lack of mobility. But most of all, the lack of feeling anything is being done about it.

Why are climate change activists white and middle class? Response from Soli Townsend (Futerra) is that they will be treated differently by the police/legal system to non-white and/or working class activists as they will have access to better legal support! #CIPRConf2022
