Our Grade 5&6 students showcased their learning with different technology mediums. Utilizing the IDEA lab, they showed how they integrated science and math with technology. They also displayed their student designed mural that reflects the students understanding of Canada.

Our students in Pre-K to 7 participated in the world event Hour of Code. It's a global movement by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org. Reaching millions of students in 180+ countries through a 1hr introduction to computer science and computer programming.

CIS has serious TALENT! This past Thursday our kids put on an incredible talent show. Our little entertainers filled the stage with signing, dancing, music, and cheerleading. The audience was mesmerized and the children all had so much fun!

Thank you to everyone who joined the celebration of CIS’s Winter Festival and Christmas Carnival held this past weekend. It was a beautiful display of our school community and the wonderful extended family of CIS. Happy Holidays!!

On December 13th, the students of CIS hosted a Genius Hour showcase in our Idea Lab. Our mini geniuses were able to explain the key features of their project to visiting guests. Their projects showcased each student's creativity and love of learning.
