Yeah, it's hilarious that Trent Williams' "value in free agency" is being discussed when he's.... not a free agent.
No wonder there's so much bad salary-cap and contract information out there — makes sense if simple concepts like 'free agency' aren't givens

Trent’s leverage is being inflated. He’s under contract. If he’s healthy, he plays or risks “Aiyuking” his current money. The original post implies he’s going to force a trade, but the team is not required to entertain that. As for “exploring free agency”… Yeah, not this year, he ain’t.

This makes ZERO sense. Both the Rams and Bears played on Saturday. That should be the Saturday game. It's asinine the NFL would schedule the 49ers on a short week when they could have avoided a short week for all of the NFC teams.
