The SPI in-person experience has returned to campus after being online for two years. This afternoon we had the first Horizons of Change Luncheon with Dr. Lisa Schirch talking about “Decolonizing Peacebuilding.”

Lisa Schirch, the Richard G. Starmann Sr. Professor of the Practice in Peace Studies at Notre Dame’s @KrocInstitute for International Peace Studies, will be the first speaker in the Horizons of Change luncheon series, hosted by EMU’s SPI. emu.edu/now/news/2022/…

Introducing Bryan Stevenson PhD '22!! . . We were graced by the presence and wisdom of Bryan Stevenson for our Commencement Day festivities. Bryan also joined the Class of 2022 by accepting an honorary doctorate, one of only two to be awarded in EMU's history.

EMU awarded 408 total degrees on Sunday, May 8. The total included 260 undergraduate degrees, 92 master’s degrees, 54 graduate certificates, one doctorate, and one honorary doctorate. Among those were 29 graduates of the CJP and 10 graduates of Eastern Mennonite Seminary.
