I used to translate my own blog posts (Kor<>Eng). It made me realize how I can process and communicate the same ideas under different narrative structures and styles depending on my language choice. Really cool to know there’s academic backing for this!

I actually read about this recently, but the reason the non native English writers have more unique styles is because their brains are still wired to their first language, allowing them to make syntactic and semantic connections native English speakers don't even think about
