This was how your people and your party disenfranchised the masses from voting in 2023 but you were all fine with it, now you’re crying because it has touched you. You haven’t started crying yet. APC’s wickedness must touch everyone including you that is being booted out.

“In all zones, they have been intimidating and stopping us. I want to officially announce my withdrawal from this particular race.” — Hon. Desmond Elliot officially withdraws from the Lagos State House of Assembly APC primaries for Surulere Constituency I.

@Kezmag_ Also, take the medicine or chew the tablet 30mins - 1hr prior to your trip so that it can start working by the time you hit the road.

@Kezmag_ Use Avomine or Bonine (Meclizine). Avoid looking down alot or being so much on your phone while traveling as that would likely cause motion sickness. When it starts, wind down the car windows to get some fresh air. Wearing nose masks can help as well as drinking Ginger Ale.

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS OF ORGANIC WATERMELON by Prof Dr Kalu OON Definition of Organic Watermelon Organic watermelon refers to watermelon grown without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides, relying on natural soil fertility and biological pest control. Crop Identification Watermelon belongs to the species Citrullus lanatus, a vine crop in the cucurbit family. Soil and Climate Prefers warm climates (about 25–35°C). Grows best in well-drained sandy loam soil. Soil pH around 6.0–6.8. Organic Soil Fertility Instead of chemical fertilizers, organic farming uses: Compost Poultry manure Cow dung Green manure crops These improve soil structure and microbial life. Planting Method Seeds planted 2–3 cm deep. Spacing usually 1–2 meters between plants for vine spread. Good sunlight is essential. Organic Pest and Disease Control Common natural methods include: ~Neem extract spray ~Garlic or pepper solutions ~Crop rotation ~Removing infected leaves early Harvesting Watermelon is ready about 70–90 days after planting. Signs include: Dry tendril near the fruit Yellow spot on the underside Hollow sound when tapped Benefits of Organic Watermelon ~No chemical residues ~Better environmental sustainability ~Often higher market value due to health demand. 20. SAMPLE BEGINNER PORTFOLIO (₦500,000): If I were starting fresh today with ₦500K, here’s how I’d split it: → 30% Banking (₦150K) — Split between GTCO and Zenith. → 20% Telecoms (₦100K) — MTN Nigeria. → 20% Industrial (₦100K) — Dangote Cement or Lafarge. → 15% Consumer Goods (₦75K) — BUA Foods or NASCON. → 15% Oil/Agric (₦75K) — Seplat or Okomu Oil. This gives you exposure to 4-5 sectors, mixes growth and dividend stocks, and doesn’t put all eggs in one basket. Adjust based on YOUR risk tolerance.

₦200k Nigerian Stocks. A simple beginner portfolio many retail investors use is diversifying across sectors. Take a look at these.... 1. ₦50k — Transcorp (high growth potential) 2. ₦40k — Zenith Bank (strong dividends + stability) 3. ₦40k — Guaranty Trust Holding Company (banking + fintech expansion) 4. ₦35k — MTN Nigeria (telecom giant) 5. ₦35k — Presco (agriculture boom) Why this works? You’re spreading risk across: Energy / infrastructure Banking Telecom Agriculture This protects you if one sector slows down. Are you learning?

This made me remember one Imam, he almost chased everyone from the mosque because of this. Once people see he’s the one leading the prayer, they go to another mosque. When he’s not around, the mosque will be back to being full 😂🤣

As one who has lived here for 19yrs,here’s my take: Owning a credit card is very important if you hope to buy a property or make huge purchases in the future. So you have to start building it now. Tipping is a must and part of the culture. You don’t need to change your accent
ADEWUYI Roseline Adebimpe@AdewuyiRoseline

I have lived in the US for the past five years, and I am not ashamed to admit that… 1. I can’t afford to get a car, and that is the reality. It is not a financially wise decision for me at this stage. One constant question I get is, “You should own a car by now.” I do not, simply because I do not have the capacity at the moment. At the end of the day, everyone knows their own realities and financial dynamics. At the right time, it will happen, and when it does, it will be without pressure or regret. 2. I still do not fully understand the U.S. credit system. I sometimes don’t use my credit card for an entire year. I am honestly unbothered about building a credit score, and it rarely crosses my mind. I am not comfortable owing money through credit. However, I know I will need to become more intentional about it as I continue to grow and evolve. 3. I drink tap water directly from the faucet. I don’t filter my water, and I don’t buy bottled water. 4. I have never tipped in the U.S. before because I do not yet understand the system. It is something I am still interrogating and trying to comprehend. 5. I do not paint a picture that everything is rosy as an immigrant. I can be vulnerable and transparent about my realities, and that is who I am. I am not trying to perform “big girl” energy for anyone. I grew up in a household rooted in contentment, and that ethos has remained my compass. What I know is that, by God’s grace, I have never had to solicit financial help from anyone in my entire life. 6. My accent is part of my identity, and I am not ashamed of it. The objective of language should not be accent erasure but intelligibility. Accents are legitimate linguistic imprints of heritage, memory, and geography. 7. So many days, I feel as though my body resides in the United States, yet my soul and spirit remain anchored in Nigeria. I exist in a liminal space suspended between two worlds, negotiating belonging in both and complete assimilation in neither. There is an undercurrent of deracination, a quiet uprootedness that lingers beneath the surface. It is the paradox of migration: physical relocation without total psychic relocation. I navigate an in-between existence, oscillating between cultural codes, sensibilities, and identities perpetually translating myself. It is not merely homesickness; it is a metaphysical bifurcation, a dual consciousness that fractures and forges me at the same time.
