LYON played great, Inspired jg gap, Saint reached his potential, and Dhokla had one of the best 3 day stretches of his career But I think the bigger story is Blaber looking like a shell of himself, once again, in a high pressure series. Great series but gutted for Blaber #LCS

But now you just steal them, right? 🤦🏼‍♂️ I can assure you, most people downloading switch ROMs and emulators don't have the carts or a switch. Why wouldn't you want to play on the original hardware anyways? That's silly.

@Thornskade @chozero616 @lextorias Not sure why you're bringing up old games for an argument about emulating modern / recent titles. Nintendo hasn't filed a lawsuit against Citra MMJ, mGba, Dolphin, or any other major core used for emulation from the Wii U and older. Just Switch.

@chozero616 @lextorias I'm sure you have studies to back up this claim. I would wager most people who emulate, emulate their old games on modern hardware. But you're straying so far off the point here. Pirates won't buy your Switch because you keep attacking emulators, but you piss off your customers.

FYI fan boys, the Switch is now a last gen console and will no longer be made before long. Additionally, Nintendo has filed more DCMA takedown than any other gaming company by a large margin. The best way to reduce piracy is by making the games available on more platforms for a reasonable price. This removes the friction of finding emulators, configuring them, and then downloading roms making buying a simpler more appealing option

@DreamingMonarch @Pirat_Nation Why are people mad that Nintendo is protecting assets that are still for retail? I'd understand being mad if they went after mGba, Dolphin, or Citra MMJ. But Switch emulators? 😂 Why are we made about that? Switches are still retailing. Ofc they are gonna knock emu down for it.

I say this as someone who has a lot to gain if prices skyrocket - I hope they don’t. If anything, I hope prices drop & playing old games becomes more accessible. The community loses when people feel that the cost of entry is too high. Only a fake fan would hope the prices go up

@TheJWittz I recommend the Anbernic 406V if you want power, customization and the ability to emulate more than just GB GBC & GBA. This thing certainly is nice. But if you're shelling out that kind of money, just buy a modded Gameboy color with a screen swap and backlight.

Any Analogue Pocket owners out there? Is it worth it? The older I get, the more I feel the desire to replay everything from my childhood. And this sure looks like the best way to do that. I check almost every day for a good 2nd hand sale but this thing is so pricey 😭
