A huge thank you to the communities of Duryard and St James for re-electing me to serve them for another two years on @ExeterCouncil It was a long day yesterday but it was wonderful to speak to so many residents.

Then this afternoon I am out in the beautiful Duryard hills, which I have represented since 2016. The views across the City from here still amaze me. Less than three weeks to go to polling day

Good to be out and about in St James this morning. Lovely chats with residents and always wonderful to be in St James, the place I was first elected to in 2003!

Trump’s war - backed by Badenoch and Farage - is already hurting people's pockets. We must act now. Our plan to Keep Britain Moving would cap bus journeys at £1, wherever you need to go.

Good to be out knocking on doors in St James today with the team. Great conversations and plenty of support for myself and nice comments about the local @ExeterLibDems team.

So strangely walking into work was a little emotional today as I thought about the many memories of colleagues and patients past and present. I think I might have a glass or too tonight!

It's April the 1st but no April fools from me! Today has a different significance for me as 25 years ago I started working at the @RoyalDevonNHS and have had two and a half decades of the privilege of working with outstanding people and treating amazing patients within oncology.

I have and will continue to call for these important elections to go ahead in @ExeterCouncil and across the country.

Liberal Democrats have been fighting tooth and nail to ensure local elections go ahead and that people can have a say on how their communities and local councils are run. @EdwardJDavey has written to Kemi Badenoch urging her to call on Conservative peers in the Lords to back our fatal motion - which would block the government's plans and reinstate the cancelled local elections.

It was also a privilege to meet and talk to HM Deputy Lieutenant for Devon Vikram S Devaraj. Doh jeh (thank you) for everyone's continuing friendship.

Ian and I spent an absolutely fantastic morning and afternoon at the 香港人在Exeter, Hongkongers in Exeter celebrations for the upcoming Year of the Horse. Great to see our forever friends within the Hongkongers community and many other friends from our diverse communities too.
