Because there’s no need for doom and gloom. The program has gotten better every season under Lanning and there’s no signs it won’t get better next season.
Yes the last game of each season wasn’t great but lose by 1 or 100 it counts the same.

Oregon’s problem obviously isnt talent acquisition. It’s that you can’t buy your way past a culture that’s built first on branding, and eyeballs instead of football substance. Dan Lanning didn’t walk in with prior head-coaching scar tissue to rip that out by the roots, and frankly, almost no one could. It’s exponentially harder to install a real, durable football culture when the existing one is already fully optimized for marketing, apparel, and spend. That’s who Oregon is. And that’s the ceiling.

@Dweather5 I think it's a reach, but not too much of one! I'd probably have him third behind Benson and Moore. That said, I do think he's our best pass catcher - split that skill out from everything else receivers have to do, and he's #1
