We use 3.9 million seeds and 124,000 bits of charcoal, plus some stats, to tell the story of these two crops across 6,000 years, from the Neolithic to the end of the Iron Age. tldr? Olives & grapes were integral to the economic, social, and demographic trajectories of the region
