CSK celebrated the district-wide Unplug Day with their monthly PBIS celebration, as they do on half days—recognizing students with awards and enjoying fun games together! 🎉🏆

CMMS had an amazing Unplug Day! 🔌✨ From Show Choir performances 🎶 to art, Shakespeare fun 📚🎭, old-school library checkouts, and outdoor games 🌿—students unplugged and connected in the best ways! 💙

Balmoral Elementary had a great time participating in the district-wide Unplug Day yesterday! From reading with flashlights to learning how to count money, solving math equations, and more, students stayed engaged and had fun. It was nice to unplug!

On Tuesday, our ELC students received a sweet surprise! 🍩 Dr. Ghantel Perkins, Asst. Superintendent of Teaching & Learning stopped by with Dunkin’ Munchkins to celebrate their WIN in the ParentSquare Battle of the Schools! Thank you to our parents for downloading the app!

Crete Elementary proudly participated in our district’s Unplug Day! 📵 Students and staff took a break from screens to focus on meaningful, hands-on experiences that allowed students to collaborate, create, and connect with one another.

Today, our district is observing Unplug Day 📵🔌, encouraging students and staff to take a break from technology and enjoy screen-free learning experiences, and also serves as a preparedness practice if technology systems are temporarily unavailable. Stay tuned for pictures! 📸

On April 18, the PTO at Coretta Scott King Magnet School hosted “The Royal Tea Experience” for Eagle boys and the special ladies in their lives. From coordinated outfits to the crowning of the king, it was a memorable event for all! 👑💙💛 Watch the recap video! 📽️
