For businesses seeking short-term financing, commercial paper can provide a flexible and efficient way to raise working capital through the capital markets. Commercial paper is a short-term debt instrument typically issued by corporations and financial institutions to meet operational financing needs. Investors purchase the instrument at a discount and receive the full face value at maturity. Understanding capital market instruments is key to making informed financial and investment decisions. #CMAAt30 #CapitalMarkets #Publiceducation
