The Black tax is not exclusive to Black athletes and entertainers. Almost any Black person that has jumped higher in class relative to their parents, siblings, or additional immediate family, pays a Black tax. That includes, first gen college grads, doctors, lawyers, etc.

Because like I had this but my A1c was like 5.4 at the time, and then bunch of lifestyle modifications later, down to 4.9 and no acanthosis nigricans.
