Elon Musk's remarks suggesting that #DerekChauvin be pardoned for murdering Mr. #GeorgeFloyd demonstrate a racial animus rivalling anything ever stated by Bull Connor. As a Twitter user since 2016, I have never become political on this platform. But Mr. Musk's remarks are completely contemptible. I broadcasted George Floyd when he was a football star for @JackYates_FB High School in Houston in the 1990's. Chauvin lynched George on National TV. Chauvin deserved far worse than he got. But Mr. @elonmusk owes the country, and the grieving Floyd Family, an Apology for this obtuse and unacceptable statement of support for a kiIIer like Derek Chauvin. charles mccullough
