Reaching out for course syllabi focusing on “Trauma-informed practices”… we are developing a SEL add on cert @DeSales and need to develop a few courses.

All of this is wrong. All of this teaches the strategies of poor readers. This is balance literacy, and this is three cueing. I did this. It was wrong. Don’t do this and don’t teach this.

After 7853 years of closed lanes and highway construction, I can definitively say that there is a 1.7 mile stretch of RT 22 near Allentown that is smooth as butter. 11/10 recommend.

I have an intern teacher who has a EI student with frequent tantrums. Her supervisors advice was to “show him more love.” Ummmm… what about recording behavior data to identify a pattern in triggers or function? Or any positive behavior intervention ideas?

@ELindstromPhD As a child, I simply loved it and needed an active outlet because I was so hyper/anxious. For my parents, likely a nightmare coordinating extra curriculars for 6 children… I cannot imagine.
