No. I got scammed by a Speed Dating event at a comic convention twice in 2016 and once in 2017 because I found out later that the women in the room were all paid volunteers and not single at all. I feel bad for all the single men in the room who wasted their $20 - $25 when they found out as well. I never went to another speed dating event ever again.

Because I gave up after 25 years of searching for the right one. From being falsely accused to catfish to scammed to everyone ignoring my preferences and giving me ultimatums/alternatives. I am happy to be single so I can enjoy life on my own and not fall in love anymore.

My initial goal back then was to find someone in my life and be married between the ages of 25 and 30. I am 39, not married, no children, single, and gave up pursuing love. I am back home from today's work shift, where I am feeling emotionally stressed out and mentally frustrated over the harassment I received from two supervisors and two co-workers. 4 against 1. I was called "hazard", a "lowest common demoninator (aka "dumbass")", and that they believe that I don't belong here. I am not to be blamed for the floor space of the warehouse being small and not having enough room to move around. Plus, it's not my fault that the delivery drivers had not returned before the shift began because they have over a dozen pallets to drop off due to the holidays. So, why lash out at me when I didn't do anything to deserve it. I am here to work! Not be punked and profiled by them! I am glad that someone had to defend me since not of the other co-workers did it. If anyone is going to ask if apologies were given, no. They didn't apologize. Not like I expected them to, but I hope they regret their choice of words.

Never in my life until now that I had a boss/manager defend me at work by telling a team of Supervisors and other employees to stop single me out, harassing, and profiling me on a daily basis when I am not fault for anything during shifts. I would had walked out and become jobless because of them or went home emotionally stressed and drained from their unwanted actions. I am feeling better now.

This is a post I never thought I would have to make, but our beloved communities deserve to know. My brother, @Kon_zetsu, has passed away. He was our whole world and now a giant piece of it is missing. Please check on your loved ones and take depression seriously. You never know what will be your last moment with them. Life can change in a second. The world you know disappears forever. Nothing is guaranteed, not time, not long nights spent together gaming and laughing, not the people you love. So please love louder, appreciate deeper, make your love known, because what feels so normal today could be something you desperately wish for tomorrow.

In my opinion, having a job is a major priority in order to afford things like food, travel, gifts, and living. If I don't have one, then I would fear that she will probably leave me because she would think I am just some lazy, couch potato that expects her to do everything for me.
