"Having that money from the Police Foundation 100% provided the foundation for me to have a long-standing relationship with a really great therapist, and that was not an experience that I had before." Thanks to the @CMPFoundation, our Critical Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps give our employees the financial freedom to seek external mental health services when needed. Our employees' wellness is a top priority, and cost should never get in the way of someone getting the help that they need. Hear from Sgt. Lee about how CCAP helped her create a better space for herself, not only at work, but in her personal life as well.

"If your child is out late at night participating in an organized takeover, they are not in a safe environment. These gatherings have led to violence, property damage and innocent people getting hurt." Parents, if your child is out contributing to violence or committing illegal activity - YOU can be charged! We need your help in keeping our community and your child safe. Know where your kids are at, know who they're with and what they're doing.

10% higher pay, 10% more reason to join CMPD! 👀 With the 2027 Fiscal Year budget put into effect this month, we're celebrating a big win as our recruits, officers and sergeants now make 10% more, with the starting salary for recruits moving up to $65,478! Shortly after becoming Chief, Chief Patterson began advocating for higher, more competitive pay for officers, and now that dream is a reality. Along with the other fantastic financial incentives that were also put into effect, this salary increase is a huge step towards not only increasing employee morale, one of Chief Patterson's top priorities, but also a huge step for showing our employees how important they are not just to our department, but to the community as well! Read more about these awesome incentives and calculate how much you could make as a CMPD officer with our new salary calculator at the link in bio! 🔗💰
