@WackyJa41388550 @WorkElizab Yes, I wouldn't lie about my great grandfather's name like that. Yes it might be a common female's name, but back in the 1880's-1950's men were given the name as a middle name, to distinguish between others with the same birth name.

@StevenM90772067 @WorkElizab That was my great grandfather's name that he went by with family members & it's what he preferred to be called. Inwhich Shirley was his middle name, he preferred being called Shirley cause other male family members had the same first name of Frank.
