@nickmangwana Can you also tell us he claims he removed sanctions. The gvt of Zimbabwe took the legal route through hiring American lobbyists who failed dismally. While I acknowledge that the fight involved others, his advocacy was evidence-based and was presented apolitically. #PutZimFirst

SANCTIONS: MISPLACED VAINGLORY Enough of the false victories and empty boasts. Some of you walk around claiming sole responsibility for getting sanctions removed against Zimbabwe. Let's set the record straight with a simple fact check. · Is ZIDERA (Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act) still a U.S. law targeting Zimbabwe? Yes. · Is the Global Magnitsky Act still actively enforced against Zimbabwean individuals and entities? Yes. · Is the President of Zimbabwe still on those Magnitsky sanctions? Yes. · Are U.S. directors at International Financial Institutions (IFIs) still legally obligated to vote against financing projects in Zimbabwe? Another yes. So where exactly are these "removed sanctions" you're taking credit for? Do you totally ignore the impact of SADC speaking with one voice on U.S. foreign policy, and think your legal histrionics alone shaped current U.S. policy on Zimbabwe? The architecture of punishment against Zimbabwe remains fully intact. Until ZIDERA is repealed, until every name is off Magnitsky, and until Washington stops blocking development finance, don't insult our intelligence with self-congratulatory lies. You didn't end anything—it's just a self-aggrandizing boast. Zimbabweans deserve truth, not trophy hunting. #ZimSanctionsMustGo

Prominent Zimbabwean lawyer Nqobani Sithole of Sithole Law Chambers, who handled the Tawanda Muchehiwa abduction case in July 2020 and the dramatic Sengezo Tshabangu seizure of the now virtually captured opposition CCC, has been in the news of late regarding the withdrawn high-stakes Constitutional Court application by Matabeleland pressure group Ibhetshu LikaZulu and its secretary-general Mbuso Fuzwayo's challenging President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 2030 agenda and a raft of contentious constitutional amendments. Sithole says his client had a genuine and strong case to challenge Mnangagwa’s bid to lengthen his term of office and make changes to the political, electoral and governance systems, but was subjected to vicious and malicious attacks on media and social media platforms without any justification and facts to prove accusations against him. As a result, Fuzwayo, a veteran and determined human rights activist, withdrew the case to protect his reputation, but in the process an opportunity was lost to block Mnangagwa’s political agenda.

I went on a date yesterday with a guy I met about two weeks ago, and I already had a small feeling about it before we even left. When he came to pick me up, I had told him I might just drive myself, but he insisted on coming to get me, so I let him, even though something in me was like… just take your car. That should’ve been my first sign though, because he didn’t even open the door for me. Not when I got in, not when we got out at the restaurant. I noticed it, but I didn’t say anything. I just kept it in the back of my mind. We sat down, ordered food and drinks, everything seemed normal at first. Then, out of nowhere, while we’re still eating, he starts talking about how we should split the bill. I just paused for a second, looked at him, and something in me switched off completely. I didn’t argue, didn’t question him. I just called the waiter, paid for the entire meal myself, grabbed my things, and left. No speech, no drama. I didn’t even look back. Some things don’t need discussion.

@Shadaya_Knight The thing is people want to be great at something they have never been taught. You are not taught how to be great at sex but somehow we think we will be the mandingo in the game. Swallow the pride, be humble, ask what satisfies the woman. They sure will tell

I was 21 before I had sex for the first time. Thought I’d be a natural. I was not. My confidence: Johnny Sins. Reality: The 40 year old virgin. Here’s what nobody tells you about the first time: 🧵 It’s awkward for everyone. Movies lied. There’s no soundtrack or perfect lighting. Result: Lowered my expectations and actually enjoyed it instead of performing. Talking beats mind-reading. I asked “is this okay?” like 10 times. Turns out communication is hot. Result: We both relaxed and figured it out together. Your brain is the problem, not your body. Spent 90% of it in my head worrying about everything. Result: Once I focused on them instead of my anxiety, everything clicked.

@Shadaya_Knight Never develop a pattern or imagine things or enhance it by using external substances. However, abort the mission with the one who gives you extreme anxiety. Psychologically, man can sense a bad woman through the nervous system. Hence failure should also be celebrated. kkkk

@freemanchari Robert is a good national duty. It is interesting that you rightly observed that most combatants were child soldiers. When they left for the war, our brothers left some of their responsibilities such as herding cattle kurima etc to their lighties who were mostly under 10.

I believe the Rudo here is the late Squadron Leader Rudo Mutikani. I understand she joined the war when she was 14. There is a reason why I have a deep respect for real war veterans. Apart from the fact that my father is one, it's knowing that those who really fought for this country did without the cunning & calculative intent for power. They genuinely fought for Zimbabwe. Most were child soldiers. I am glad that @rtapfumaneyi is giving these gallant sons and daughters the platform to speak for themselves. I have watched countless episodes, and you can tell those who fought don't brag about war. Majority of those who were at the front had little education. Most of them came back to a country that prioritized those who didn't fight. A country whose reconcilliation policies even favored those who had collaborated or served the colonial regime. Cde Rudo could not write her own name and it took the intervention of Perrance Shiri. How many of the thousands who came from the bush were in the same boat. From what I gather, there was no career guidance. The lucky ones had someone telling them to go back to school but a lot fell through the cracks. I have seen a lot of disdain being laid upon them especially after the ZW$50K which by the time they got it was equivalent to USD4000 (Present day $8,229.00). It was a bribe by a failed government which had ignored their plight for over 17 years. When you look at the sacrifice of war, that amount is nothing. Our government failed to foresee the challenges of civilian integration and did not prepare these folk for life in the independent Zimbabwe. They bred a crop of dependents when they could have eased them into independence. Every interview is a comrade wallowing in poverty. In other countries, there are military hospitals, veterans preferential programs , loans etc and civilians don't complain about it because they have a better life courtesy of the sacrifices of their veterans. In our country, civilians are poor. When they have sought an alternative government, ZANU PF has used some of the dependent veterans to suppress the will of the people. That has negated all the good sacrifices the war veterans did during the war. Now, civilians feel like veterans don't deserve any respect nor preferential or affirmitive programs. But, as you listen to the stories of those who actually fought, you realize they too are victims of the same regime. It is not too late for the few that remain to do right by the people. As long as they remain on the sidelines or propping the Mnangagwa regime, they will die as paupers while thieves grow caterpillar bellies.

These are the people, who are behind CAB3 and who are sponsoring it in various ways: Ziyambi Ziyambi Virginia Mabhiza Kudakwashe Tagwirei Paul Tungwarara Wicknell Chivayo A common feature among them is that they have either never won an election or participated in one. Apart from Ziyambi, they also do not belong to the organic structures of any political party. Whose will therefore are they championing? We know for instance that they are not acting on any party resolution—not even that of the party that rigged Zimbabwe in 2023. For long we have framed this as a legal issue—and it is one—but we must also focus on their lack of political mandate. Our question after church today is, who are these people? #NotoCAB3. #Notoconstitutionalmutilation. #Notoinstitutionalizednonsense.

𝗚𝗟𝗬𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦. Two years after South African courts silenced me for exposing that I found glyphosate in Zimbabwe’s leading staple food brands, the African Centre for Biodiversity in South Africa has now discovered glyphosate in leading maize meal, bread, wheat, and baby food brands. Most shocking was the fact that amounts exceeding minimum limits were found in bread and wheat brands. This is despite studies showing that even amounts below the minimum levels have been found to cause irritable bowel syndrome, cancer, and other complications. A month ago, the Zimbabwean government began to review the use of glyphosate in agriculture, a week after Bayer Monsanto was hit with a $7.2 billion national settlement after its glyphosate was found to cause non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

I met this girl on TikTok last year. We chatted for a while, and she said she would come from Abuja to Lagos to see me. She asked for $300, but I sent $500. She took the money and never showed up. When I called her for a refund, she blocked me and deleted my contact. I’m never trusting anyone online again.

When @wicknellchivayo donates to individuals they complain…. Now that he has decided to donate to all the 210 Constituencies through their MPs, they complain even louder! The money is not for the MPs’ personal needs, it’s for COMMUNITY PROJECTS. They can buy cement & bricks to build classrooms, they can drill boreholes, they can pay school fees for underprivileged learners… MILLIONS of Zimbabwe will be impacted by the donation…. We have people who are now habitual whiners while they contribute NOTHING. If you don’t want others to donate, just do the donating yourself….
