FROSTY MORNINGS: Once tonight's rain ends, all eyes turn to some chilly morning to start the week! Wednesday morning has the best chance for widespread frost at the moment with a freeze possible north and east of Louisville by then🥶

[2:17PM Saturday] Heads up Louisville! The wall of rain is moving in. These rain showers could produce wind gusts up to 40 MPH in a few locations as it pushes east. The severe weather risk is pretty low right now. Get the umbrellas ready!

STORMY SATURDAY: After a dry start, widespread rain and storms arrive this afternoon. A few storms may have strong gusty winds between noon and 8PM. Keep the rain gear handy today!

[4:24PM] Some storms could get briefly strong as they move northward through our area this evening. This small threat for areas north of Louisville would end by 10PM ET.

NWS Louisville has finished their survey of March 15th's tornadoes, determining now that 3 separate tornadoes hit Grayson, Breckinridge, Hardin, and Meade Counties from the same parent storm. Adjacent 100-110 MPH straight-line wind damage (black lines) was also found.

[8:14PM] The severe weather threat is over! A few storms will continue at times overnight as warmer air moves in, but these won't be severe.

ALERT DAY NOW IN PLACE: A Slight risk of severe storms has been added along and north of I-64 today. Some storms between 2 and 8PM will be capable of damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, and perhaps a brief spin up.

BREEZY SUNDAY: After a chilly start, temperatures surge to near 70° thanks to a strong southwest breeze. We'll see gusts upwards of 25 to 30 MPH throughout the day.
